Free healthcare, free housing, free food, where's my check?, Illegals have more rights and "gifts" than citizens. What the heck is going on?

Not socialism as it has been known. How about a combination of government and corporate entities, that can tax, confiscate property, and apply all kinds of unanswerable legal pressure on a citizen until they comply. A system that does not at all resemble the ideals of accountability to the citizen, no-interference and freedom proposed by the founders. That's where we are heading, in fact have had this condition since the mid 1960s.
