Judging from the spelling and punctuation one some of the other answers and questions, I'd have to say she was at least partly right. Americans apparently do not receive good education. If that's not the answer, they really are stupid.

Talk to her after class. Ask your parents to talk to her. Explain to her that you will not get a good education in her class either and by behaving this way, she is proving herself to be the same as the americans she is always criticizing. You may also try asking her to give you some translations in latin for words such as rude, bigotry, stereotyping, maybe even words like jew, concentration camps, war, nazi, or even gestapo. She might get the point. It seems to me that she has been teaching american students for awhile and does have a valid point about our education system. It it not the best in the world, but she should also realize that she has an opportunity to show what a good education looks like. She should also realize that the culture she comes from has a stygma for bigotry and should try not to behave this way. Talk to your parents, the administration and to other students about your problem. You may have to transfer from this class. Get info from other american students and be prepared to make your case. To really get her goat; make your complaint in latin and english. Good luck!

Tell her she is right and that's why you are there to get the great European Education she has to offer and that you look forward to leaving Germany a well educated American and to improving other Americans when you return to the U.S....That will put an end to her tirade and maybe give you a better grade.

Instead of getting frustrated ask her why she believes these things. When she explains to you the reasons find similarities of her reasons to the German culture. Make sure to do this in a positive way.
Sometimes you can also view these comments as envy instead of insults. She may truly view Americans as having a good life style which is better than hers. Some people don't like others to have better things than theirs and need to put them down with negativity to make their lifes seem better.
I feel bad for you. You do not deserve this or need this kind of stress while in another country to learn. I also feel bad for your teacher. It is a shame people can be obviously rude to others.
You never know you may receive a stronger relationship with the teacher if you tell them how they are making you feel. I bet if you two were to sit down and discuss it like two adults it may work its self out.
If none of this works;
Remind her that history books don't lie!

You have to do something, see the head teacher if ur not confident tell ur mum to have a word. I know you think it might affect your grade but it wont because she wont dare down grade u after a complaint is logged. Her mark could be checked by a third party if u disagree. She is a bully and needs to be stopped.

Ask her politely, "Are you through, b/c I'm here to learn, not to hear you whine, cry, complain, moan, groan, and/or witch about something you clearly no anything about or just jealous of." Then politely remind your teacher that the killing off of 10 million jews due to a mad man placed in office by "YOUR" people is not a good thing and that it took us to come in knock him off his perch and give you the democracy that gives you the right to moan, groan, whine, complain, cry, etc as you do right now.

Report the problem to the dean. That's what the school administration is for. The teacher is there to teach . . . not demoralize.
