Elston Howard of the New York Yankees. He wore #32 and his number was retired the same day as Roger Maris's #9 in 1984. He was the 1963 A.L. MVP. He had a base hit in his first at-bat and a home run in his first World Series at-bat. He won two Gold Glove Awards. He was an All Star every year from 1957-1965. He was a Yankee from 1955-1967.
