I know in a cave i meant Location of the dang cave! Any now i know it was filmed in scotland NOT the US. Thanks.

It was all filmed in Scotland, and Pinewood Studios. Didn't go anywhere near the Appalachian mountains.

At Dawn Horror Film Festival on July 5, 2005 in a cave -in - blocks.It was broadcast worldwide, leading the U.S military.
