Recap the highlights of the service or product then point out the benefits and how they match up with the customers needs (which hopefully you've already uncovered). After you do this, simply suggest that what you are trying to sell them is the best option for what they need. In short, physically ask for the sale. The worst they can do is say no. If they still don't buy dig deeper. What is their hesitation? Never take "I just don't know..." this usually means they are concerned about the price or they are scared to make a decision. Price should NEVER inhibit a sale! Be professional and make them believe you know all there is to know about the product and they would be making a mistake to go anywhere else. If they are too scared to make a decision they will either cave and buy from you or they will walk away and not buy from anyone else (they most likely will come back later). To be successful in sales is all about confidence -you won't close every deal- dealing with rejection helps you with the next sale eventually you will hear it all and have a response for just about everything. Everybody in sales gets rejected - it's how you bounce back from the rejection that makes you successful. Winners fail-losers don't.

One of the best ways I learned to 'finalize' a sale is to give the buyer two options, both acceptible to you.

"Would you like this in green or in yellow?"
"Would you like that in a box, or would you like to wear it out?"

Remember, when the buyer says NO, they really mean that they dont' KNOW enough about the product or the price.
