How much do you need?

Who says the mortgage company cant help you at a time like this? That would've been my first suggestion. It's a long drawn out process...foreclosure...it just doesn't happen over night. Have you paid your note since October of 2006? If you have been paying, the mortgage company should be able to work with you somehow. Also, what about taking a few temporary jobs for the time being. They may not be ideal, but it will pay the bills. Do you have any equity in your home? Or an equity loan or line of credit? You could use that. I guess my biggest piece of advice would be don't panic. I know it's hard, stressful and depressing, but I think you will make it through ok. Just stay positive and work hard, and if foreclosure does happen, maybe it was not meant to be (you keeping the house), or maybe it happened for an unknown reason for the better. I wish you luck. It makes me sad that people even have to worry about this.
