yes, so far so good. All I know about him is that he is an intelligent man with a certain charisma, and a growing following. As they go into primary debates, we'll probably find out a lot more about him.
He has a big challenge ahead of him with Hillary. I wonder if they could afford to team up?

Barack Osama has only been a US Senator for a little over 2 years. So he's black...so what? Shouldn't someone have to prove themself in some way before taking over the presidency of the most powerful nation in the world? What has he done? Anything? Hello?

Parents divorced when he was very young. Father didn't have much to do with raising him. Mother remarried. He was raised a muslim, joined a "Christian" church when he entered politics. Attended Havard and was first black president of student union.
My opinion? He's a politician.
I thought it hysterical that Hillary in an interview immediately following the President's speech commented that the dem.s will be "Very Receptive" to discussions regarding alt. energy sources to get us away from foreign oil. Everytime there's talk of drilling in the Gulf of Mexico or up in Alaska, it's the dem.s who are the first to shout it down. I think there's this unrealistic expectation that we can just shift 100% overnight.
Yep, he, she, every last one of them is/are politicians. They'll say whatever you want to hear.

I know he's a christian NOT a muslim like some claim. I'd have to research his voting record and his public stances on key issues before I make my decision. And if I can agree with the majority of what he has done, then, if he runs for president, I will vote for him unless I find a better candidate.

I like Barack. He's a well-spoken, family man. All the people out there saying that he "sounds" like he's a terrorist? Well, there's that American ignorance again. Who cares what his name is? He's not his name. His name doesn't own him. Why can't you base your opinion on what he actually stands for and what he does? Ignorance like this makes me so mad and so very sad. That's what's wrong in this country. No one thinks anymore.

I don't really know much about him, but it will be interesting to see what he stands for. I like Edwards myself, but I am willing to listen to others.
