She's probably just playin' withchu. Sometimes, my best friend of ten years and I play like that, but we know it's all in fun to freak the other out. If she is just playing and is a good friend, she'll understand when you say that that really annoys you. So just try it.

Most of my long term friendships have been since I was a young married adult. Some of the guys I ran around with prior to being 21 are still around. Some are dead and many have moved far away from the hometown. The ones I 'hang out" with now are likely to be older.Most of those I met when I was getting into a career when lots younger. About the only exception I can think of off hand is my barber. I've been going to him since I was in my later teens and still go to him 43 years later. Sometimes I run into the ones I ran with in grade school on up but it's more of just kind of small talk since we all kind of went our own ways.Probably why I am not so keen on going to class reunions. Plus, it seems everyone has aged so much. ( not me of course) I have a hard time recognizing them sometimes. I think woman are much better at keeping old friends than guys are. My wife still contacts her friends from early high-school.

I have a friend who I have known for my whole life. People change though out there life. and it is hard for each other to stay the same. But you don't wanna lose touch. Tell her how you feel. You are friend aren't you. Friends talk about everything. May be she is going though a hard time but don't know how to talk about it so she jokes around. You never know whats going on until you talk about it. Ask her to meet you for lunch some where. Just remember people change!

i think you need to figure out why she is bothering you all of a sudden. I dont think she has just all of a sudden gone crazy. I think something has changed within you where things like this didnt brother you before but now they do. I say if its really bothering you then either stop hanging out with her or next time she says something ask her why she said what she said and confront her, worst case scenario she stops hanging out with you cause she feels uncomfortable. sometimes you can outgrow a friend.

Tell her to stop being so sexual around you. It's not that you're a prude, you simply dont think it's appropriate to send a person those kind of text messages or say something sexual out of the blue. Just because you're long time friends doesn't mean she can disrespect you.

Ask her straight up if she is a lesbian.
If she is, then tell her that if she wants to continue being friends with you then she should cut it on the comments because it is making you feel uncomfortable.
If she isn't then ask her to stop saying those comment because you are going to start to believe that she is.
Hopefully she will understand

A good friend is hard to come by. Before making any decision as to cutting her loose, as yourself this:
How much of an impact has she had in my life?
That is the most important question to ask. If she had a good impact that's immeasurable, keep her around. If she didn't make a good impact in your life, why keep her around?

It seems as if your friend just likes to push your buttons, and get a reaction from you. She might just like to say things for shock value. Ignore her or try saying things equally as shocking. eg;
I've killed before you know. (Then pause for a few seconds.) They were bugs, but it still makes me a murderer. I took a life and I can't live with this horrible guilt. I'm going to turn myself in today. lol!

Ever see the movie "Beaches", it just maybe a time in your lives that you need to distance yourselves from one another. But keep the honesty of your relationship on the back burner.

Are you sure her little brother or someone like that isn't the one doing this? If not, tell her you are concerned because her behavior doesn't seem to fit the expected maturity level of an adult. See what she says to that.
