the original qoute is meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup

I saw it as a t-shirt in Berkeley, but worded a bit differently

In Old English text, it was "Mess not with a dragon, for you are crunchy and taste well with ketchup" with a picture of a kickin' dragon on the front

It got here from the movie "The Fly" starring Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis. Goldblum's character became attempting to cajole a hesitant woman to objective out his transporter. Goldblum tried coaxing her announcing 'don't be scared, there is no longer something to be frightened of ', at which component Davis' character got here up from at the back of announcing the infamous quote of question.

Not sure, but I do know for a fact that it is NOT in the Lord of the Rings.
