It is 10x14 and VERY detailed. The stitches are even and the whole cross stitch is very well done. It is two wolves howling at the moon. Any idea how much it might sell for? It's only out of curiosity. Please specify what county you are from so I know for conversion purposes.

Oh, this is a tough one and I think you will be disappointed. I do lots of cross-stitch and other needlework, and there is no way you can get the money you "deserve" for the work you do on a piece. A piece the size you describe would cost at least $100 for stretching and framing. A rule of thumb is to double that for the cost of your picture. But who would pay $200 for a picture like that? (CDN by the way)
I've learned that pictures and pillows, and ornaments - other items - are really only valuable to give as gifts to family and friends. They appreciate it. Really hard to sell.

Here's a link on how to price crafts. Essentially, you charge by the hour according to this website. I have also heard of cross stitchers charging by the stitch... But I don't know how much. There's a forum on the about.com site that is specifically for people who sell crafts, maybe you could post the question there.

I dabble in cross stitch myself - and off the top the time invested in doing one should make them quite expensive. I did a 10x11 of a white tailed deer jumping a log, it was one my greatest accomplishments. In your case, I would think your work should go for no more that 50-80 bucks. But hey, I'm no expert on assessing these things, just my general opinion.

I live in the good 'ol USA, btw. :D

Take the cost of the kit and/or supplies you used, add in the cost of matting and framing and then add 25% for labor. A 10X14 could sell for about $75.00 +/-.

Most people who are interested in cross stitch are interested in doing it, not in buying it. You may not be able to find a buyer at any price. Why don't you look at eBay and see if people are bidding on similar items and if so, what the bids are?

I'm in the U.S.

USA here. You could probably ask about $25 for it but it is more about demand for it. If no one wants it then it won't be worth anything. You don't get your time out of complex craft projects.
