I think I'd probably blow my money on the Poles.

I wouldn't condone it, but theoretically I'd say the poles would win, simply because british people have become lazy and don't want to do anything except sit around dossing. It's truly shameful what this once great nation has become.

Anyone who can answer that are stupid. English people look like some of the described traits as the Polish and the Polish look like some of the traits mentioned. A tough guy could get knocked out straight away if he had a massive blow to the head. I would bet the results would be mixed, Polish would win some one day, the British the next and so fourth.

I'm surprised you start the question by saying "theoretically". Because that actually took place. It was in 1932, in the city of Korpujtsiza. 100 British sailors from two vessels were drinking and enjoying their day off, when they were challenged by exactly another 100 Polish sailors from two different vessels. The funny thing id that the Korpujtsizanians were so angry at the chaos they were generating, that 500 neighbours decided to get together and kick their asses all the way back to their vessels. You can check this in almost any decent encyclopedia.

Logicly that would depend on the background of the men on either side and their fist fighting experience. The British have some really skilled boxers and their soldiers are not exactly wimp material.
Assuming you take people who are experienced fighters (the ones who love fighting more than eating) on both sides and not just a general mix of fellas..., then I would have to say - I would win! How? By not even bothering to give them an audience.
Life is too short to waste on fighting and I sure aint going to waste mine watching it. I win! YAY! **pops a by-stander in the eye** I WIN! YAY!

always put the money on the team that is from a place in the middle of the historic battlefield
same for Jamaica
anyplace that has dealt with wars every 2 years is gonna kick the butts of the ones who have one every 50 years

Well a lot of the Poles I've met are big burly builder type guys... and a lot of the Brits I've met are weedy little fellas with five chins and wobbly lips... so I know who I'd go for, and I'd be cheering them all the way!

Brit's are tough, Poles aren't a match. But it'd be more interesting if they were all drunk, and you didn't tell them what they were doing. I bet the Poles would win that way.

in a straight, sober fight probably the poles...have you seen the size of some of them? BUT, with lager to the brits being like spinach to popeye in a drunk fight we`d walk it, they`d all be trolleyed on vodka.
