1. Questions here that are too general and almost impossible to answer without more info.

2. Questions here that are too specific (like we've memorized the manuel for every tech device out there).

3. Annoying kids asking about unblocking myspace.

I work in Computer Support, so I know how fustrating some of these questions can be. Feel free to vent here. 10 Points to the best answer : )

1. People not taking proper risk control when using the internet.
2. NOT keeping your OS up to date aarrgghh
3. No Antivirus installed i mean come on!!
3. No Firewall installed yet again i mean come on!!
4. People who intensionally do something to get it fixed for free

There are so many things i can think of but can't right now.

The most thing that annoys the living nuts out of me is when people complain about getting a Virus or many Virii and don't do anything till it's too late. Install a freaking Antivirus for crying out loud it's not that hard if it is for you ask someone who knows what they doing.

2nd most is when peoples computers are hacked and things stolen like email address, bank details hmmm well i wonder why Install a dang Firewall and like i said it's not that hard and if it is get someone who knows what they are doing install it.

3rd people who don't keep windows up to date there antivirus up to date or there firewalls i mean come on you whine about getting a virus and getting hacked time to learn how to keep your data safe and virus's out!!

And as the OP said asking how to unblock Myspace or other such websites at school NO! SCHOOL IS FOR LEARNING not visiting myspace or other websites YOU SHOULDN'T BE!

Original questions without a hint of what they are talking about and very limited like the Topic only nothing more kinda bugs me because you can't help them unless information is given and proper information at that!

Some questions might be too specific but most of the time can be resolved this is the one reason why people need to learn how to use a computer before getting on one will make it all the more easier.

I work on computers all the time i am an IT Tech for a webhosting company i build computers i help people with pc problems a lot especially at home when certain people can't work things out without chucking a fit.

Bascially all in all when people start learning to use a computer properly and stop asking such stupid/silly questions we would all be better off.

Yes we know a lot about what we do but it comes to a point were we so much rightly deserve a break from it all but me i love to help people out and that's the way i am simple as that.

I might get a little annoyed but i get the job done and if i can't ill try again till it's done not at all that hard that's what "Research" is all about it's learning more then you already know.

ooh one other thing heh is when peoples go BANG and the main reason i can see is Dust it is a killer it attracts it, it can and will fry your computers inards if you are not careful.

Get a can of compressed air from the local pc store or hardware store or whoever sells it and give your computer a good cleaning out once every 2-3 months depending on how dusty the room is.

Myspace questions first on the list! A close second are the people who dont have the common sense to provide details such as what op sys, device manufacturer, etc. I have seen some doosies in here! My favorite is "How can I get my webcam to work?" without telling us what make it is! There seems to be a complete lack of common sense in 70 percent of the questions!

a simple question that could have been resolved should they have decided to read the help files contained with almost ALL the software / hardware applications....the issue could have been resolved if they took the time to read....rather than call someone.........people have grown too dang lazy.......shoot I learned computers and repair problems on my own by reading the help files........also unblocking myspace, etc.......stupid questions I guess you could say....that the person with the problem would already have the answer rather than taking time away from someone with a genuine problem......hope this is what ya wanted!.....I feel better now...thanks!

general, too unclear/unspecific questions. (same goes for assignments at work). I hate being told: "make it work"... without info about what the h3ll they want it to do and how exactly it is supposed to work. I work for days trying to read a "superior's" mind on what exactly he wants, and then when I show him the thing, he says nope, I don't like it. arrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Why don't you tell me from the beginning what you want!
