can any one recommend a new printer for about £50 ta

HP 990cse or close. Also, Check Lexmarks ( Personally I do not recommend them, but they are cheap), and try the Epson Low ends for Cheap Desk Jets

Our most recent printer was an HP printer-scanner-copier that cost about US$100. It works well, and is a lot of functionality for a very reasonable price.

Get down to Argos if you have one they have some really good deals on printers at the moment.

well it sound like your a Brit or something overseas.....I personally don't the coversion rate but try looking at a HP PSC 1310 series...it is good printer/copier/fax/scanner All in one unit.....cartridges cost about 45 us dollars

5 words... Do NOT get a Lexmark.

They are cheap to buy but they are expensive for the cartridges.

HP are good, but Epson are the best for cheapness and reliability.
