"Moses was the son of Amram and his wife, Jochebed, a Levite. He is known as the legendary Hebrew liberator, leader, lawgiver, prophet, historian, and founder of Israel, or the Jewish people.

According to the Hebrew Bible, Moses led the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and into the desert, and received the Torah of Judaism from God on Mount Sinai. The Torah contains the life story of Moses and his people until his death at the age of 120 years, according to Jewish count was in the year 2488, or 1272 BCE. Arising in part from his age, but also because 120 is elsewhere stated as the maximum age for Noah's descendants (Genesis 6:3), "may you live to 120" has become a common blessing among Jews. He died the same day that he spoke and wrote the book of Deuteronomy which was the first day of the tenth month of the fortieth year from the exodus of Israel from Egypt as is stated in Deuteronomy 1:3. The constant use of the phrase "this day" in Deuteronomy and the truth that no other date or suggestion of a change in the date is given shows that the date had never changed throughout the entire book. This day was also his birthday as can be seen in Deuteronomy 31:2 in which Moses says, "I am an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the LORD hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan."

Your answer can be found in Deuteronomy 34:1-7. Supplemented by Deuteronomy 32:50

According to the account....

Moses, having sinned against God, wasn't allowed to enter the promised land...although he WAS allowed to see it from atop mount Nebo, in the land of Moab.

(His Sin and his punishment are detailed in Deuteronomy 32:48-52.)

(Also, If you would like to the location translated to the current names a little more research will be required.)

Shortly thereafter, he died. And, he was 120 years of age. The account says his body was strong and so were his eyes. He simply died as God said he would in Deuteronomy 32:50

He was buried there in Moab by his family... just short of the promised land.

He just quit breathing, didn't he? No, but seriously, I couldn't find anything specifically in the Bible. It just says that he did.
