I believe by 7 years of age is great.
a. They would remember
b. Less baggage to carry around(no need for a stroller, diaper bag etc.)
c.More time at the attractions (longer attention spans)
Although, this should be based on your individual child. Some 3 years old have great attention spans.
That's the age (7) that my husband and I are taking our son. (he's 4 now). When planning a Disney World trip, preparation is much needed. We sent off for the welcoming DVD. I must say it was so helpful. We did not know of all the attractions, on site hotels, on site services, restaurants and "mommy/daddy" at night things to do. My son is looking forward to it. (so are we).

The IDEAL age is about 3, I'd say.

I've been going to Disneyland yearly since I was 2. I also worked in the park for 4 years and still get in for free (I still have friends who work there).
I've taken my daughter there 3 times already (first time was when she was 5 months old), she's turning 1 tomorrow. But when we've gone, it was only for a couple hours, just to walk around and see friends and stuff. Although she does enjoy the scenery and certain mild attractions (such as Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan, etc). If I had to PAY to get into the park, I wouldn't bring a kid that young.

I can't wait till she can enjoy it better, in a couple years. Until then, we'll still go to the park, but since it's for free and we can go anytime we want to, it's not like we HAVE to stay all day or ride any rides.

So that's my take on it: 3 is a pretty good age to start bringing kids. But it also depends on the individual child...some kids can't handle places like Disneyland until they're 5 or so, some are perfectly content with the whole scene when they're 2.

Oh, you could deliver youngsters of any age. basically confirm that your babies get various sleep earlier the holiday, and via the holiday. My mom and dad took my while i became one million, and that i've got been going ever because of the fact that, in certainty, i won't be in a position of truly ever unlikely to Disney. I bear in mind little or no from while i became 3, yet i comprehend i became drained all of the time. There must be some strains, yet you could bypass interior the off season. I advise going sometime while it is cooler, mutually with Nov. - Feb. that's the suitable time to bypass because of the fact it is often no longer too warm, humid, or wet, which could truly harm a youngsters holiday! basically you need to have each little thing deliberate out earlier hand, as this makes going with youngsters less difficult, a minimum of that's what my mom and dad say. additionally, bear in mind that probability is that she would be in a position of be 4 by skill of the time you bypass, so there should not be lots of a difficulty. there's a ton of stuff for sons and daughters to do at Disney international, particularly interior the Magic Kingdom. she would be in a position of meet all the princesses and Mickey and something of the team. she would be in a position of experience on Cinderella's Golden Carousel, or bypass on a flight with Dumbo. so as that your little lady can bear in mind the holiday, you need to take some video or the stories that she has via the holiday! i wish you and something of your loved ones have a great holiday to the main magical place on the earth. satisfied Earth Day! ~EE

If you want them to enjoy the total experience and want them to go on all the thrill rides then you'll have to wait until they meet the height requirements at around age 10 to 14. You do want them to remember the trip, they should be at least 8 yrs old. We've been twice, my kid remembers the 8 yr old trip but not the 3 yr old trip.
Even adults like to see Mickey with the kids (and themselves)....and Donald, Pluto, Minnie, Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Chip and Dale, etc, etc.,

After they get a job, and can pay their own way. Just kidding. At least 5 years old, but more important is their height. In order to get on the good rides. Because if they can't get on a ride and you want to, somebody has to sit the ride out to watch the kids. I'd call the park and ask them what the minimum height is.

Our daughter is 2 and we are thinking at the very least she will need to be 4...probably closer to 5, bfore we will bring her. Heres a helpful hint...you cant have strollers in the lines, so if your child is too big to carry/hold while you are waiting in line, and too young to actually stand in line ya might wanna wait! And if your kid is too chicken to go on anything and screams bloody murder at the sight of Chuck E Cheese, please dont waste your money. If you do decide to go, I hear November is a great time to go...maybe around Thanksgiving. The weather is nice and the crowds arent too bad!

I would definately say 5+. I went to Disneyland when I was 3 or 4, and have no recollection except that we couldn't ride the dumbo ride because the line was too long.

you should take them about about age 4 or 5 when it will be magical and the kiddie rides will be fun and probably again at maybe 9 - 12 when they will ride the bigger rides. Disneyland is fun for all ages so whenever you take your kids they'll have a blast.

I went when I was eight and hated it, and my five year old brother hated it more. It's so hot and crowded and I was very impatient. Summer vacations would be better for older kids (10 and up), but winter vacations when the parks are less hot and less crowded would be good for little kids.
