I'd actually take Hurricane Ditka , or Mini Ditka because they would be the only ones who could possibly beat Coach Ditka.

I would have to say Bill Bellichick because he has taken the patriots from a crapy 1-15 raecord in 2000 to a 11-5 superbowl championship team in 2001, 14-2 2003, and 14-2 in 2004. He has so many different offensive and defensive schemes for every team its not even funny. And he uses the strengths of each player on the team to force maximum production. And becides Tom Brady, Tedy Bruschi, and Rodney Harrison he doesn't have a very talented experienced team, but still finished 12-4 and nearly made it to the super bowl again. Its just amazing.

I'm taking a risk on this answer.
If I could hire any coach it would be Rush Propst of Hoover High School. Why? Since he has been at Hoover as head coach the buccaneers have won 5 out of 7 6A State Championships(2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005). His coaching career record at Hoover is 105W-10L. His overall coaching career record is 173W-54L. He has won numerous coaching awards like; Associated Press Coach of the Year(1998,2000,2002,2003,2004). He has also produced a lot of talent as coach at Hoover. Chad Jackson, a 2nd round pick in the 2006 draft who plays wide receiver for the New England Patriot was coached by Propst at Hoover. He would make a great coach for any football program, high school, college, even NFL. It would be a big risk hiring a high school coach to coach in NFL but some risk are meant to be taken. Who knows he could make it to the superbowl.
AND WIN IT...

I know he didn't make it to the Superbowl, but Mike Shanahan is the man. The ONLY reason the Broncos didn't go to the Superbowl was the whole Jake problem. He brought the season to a grinding halt, and they had to start over again with Cutler. But Shanahan had plays, just not all players. If he had Cutler in the begining, Ferguson all through the season, and Lepsis, Shanahan would have pulled that Bronco magic again.

Ever? or just right now? For ever I would go Vince Lombardi because in my opinion he was the best coach ever, right now I would have to say Sean Payton. Not a Saints fan, actually Eagles fan so I should hate Payton but I think he has the most potential so I would take him to lead my team. If I could pick an entire arsenal of coaches I would take Lombardi,Halas, Brown, Shula, Knoll, Walsh, Bellichick, Neale, Vermeil, and Johnson. Right now I would take Payton, Dungy, Smith, Gruden, Nolan, Shanahan, and Holmgren.

since he not alive anymore , i be wanted to hire hank stram , the former kc chiefs coach of early afc days , he once said , to win a game , you must control the clock by running the football and his kc chiefs teams did that , playing in the first super bowl vs vince lowbingraids packers , so you really cant blame the packers for winning that game with that coach , for present i would hired bret farve after he retired , becuase he loves the game so much and players never give up on him and he knows how to mange a game , i know it sounds crazy but it would worked out .
