i wear jeans, two pairs of socks (coz the boots arent that comfy), two layered t-shirts/vests/long sleeved, a fleece top (fitted coz baggy ones get in the way, and definately gloves in case you fall

While not the best choice of attire, jeans are okay to wear to a skating party but be prepared to get wet and cold if you fall. You will want to wear socks that go higher then your ankle, no slim or hidden socks. Skinny jeans and jeans with holes are not a good choice, even with tights underneath. Ask yourself what would you wear to play football in the fall. That's what you should wear skating. This is a sport and involves lots of movement even at the beginner/recreational level.

The most important thing to remember is a thick pair of socks, snowboarding socks if you have them would be the best b/c the interior of the ice skates tend to cut into your ankles a little bit. But definitely dress in layers, maybe a jacket, scarves and mittens so that you can take off some layers if you get a little warm after skating.

I usually wear comfortable jeans and wear a t-shirt with a hoodie or sweater over. It's cold when you're in there at first, but after moving around for a while it gets hot. Layers are good

if you're just hanging out with other people, probably pants that wont let in the cold, and make sure your skin isnt touching the top of the boot (it can hurt sometimes, so you can wear long socks, tuck in jeans - skinny jeans, maybe? - tights, etc). and wear something warm and covering on top that wont let in cold air. you can always wear something under that in case you get too hot. just keep it casual, but appropriate for the climate.
gloves might help too, if you get cold easily.

Jeans and anything long sleeves, maybe a coat but nothing too big you still have to be able to move. Also you may want to carry a scarf.

jeans and a sweatshirt, or something along those lines. It will still be cold in there, but not as windy as it is outside!
