I am handicapped and it is very hard for me to clean out my turtle's tank. Is there a tray that can be removed from bottom that I can just dump?

Strangely we had the same problem, and these seemed to work great(even though it is not meant for this use).

Water turtles or land turtles?

Water turtles- if you are doing things right (big tank, well filtered, good light, etc.) the tank should not get too dirty and an occasional partial water change is all you need.

Unfortunately, a lot of people keep these turtles in tiny tanks with no heat, filtration, or light- which is both hard on the turtle AND harder to care for right.

Land turtles- you may want to try a different substrate. The right substrate depends on the type of box turtle or tortoise you have, but a good substrate should be easy enough to care for.

With a land turtle, you can also have a box or tank made up with a removeable side or something to make the job easier for you.

I wish there was a tray that could be removed from the bottom. I would get one if they made them. I have two turtles in a 10-gallon fish acquarium and I hate cleaning it. I found if I take the turtles out of the acquarium and put them in a small container of water in the sink and let them eat in that, the water doesn't get dirty as fast. The turtle food sticks make the water smell like swamp water.

well i dont know about anything for a tank, but if you feed your turtles outside the tank, on a tray like, it will help to stop the water being as dirty and it will lessen the smell from the tank! hope its some help to you, good luck with your turtle! x
