first of all because hes a man and they never admit anything but i wouldn't call it a complete failure hes done some good things in Iraq he got rid of a nut and gave the country that freedom back but they don't see it that way. i think he just really wants peace and is finding it difficult to get out. i mean he cant just leave the country un protected some one will move in no matter what they say.he is just being cautious not their for oil like they all say.

He did not fail the objective. He succeeded in hanging Saddam Hussein didn't he? And he told us he was going to get even with him for his father on an interview before he took office. I will say one thing for him he takes orders and carries them through. However he must protect our people and our country and last but not least himself and his family and fiends. He must continue to at least attempt to civilize the country since he created all that chaos to get one man. And think of the lives it took to get that maniac Saddam? His Dad should have taken him out before when he was in office. Heck he could have done it himself he was CIA wasn't he? James Bond ha ha piano wire? ha ha
This was a bass ackwards way of taking out your enemy. But that is why Frederic the Great had to hire the Sicillian to do their dirty work for them, because they had the skills and know how and the Barbaria's did not. Remember Gladiator and the war with Barbaria? The Huns? Thugs? No manners? Rome taught them a few things but they could not ever be the Roman. Cowards maybe or not enough brains? However it takes all kinds to make this world go around. And if his Dad did not have those 28 families locked up in Italy when he took Noreiga they might have done it for him as well as they did before. The government had gone to Sam Giancana to kill Castro, and he didn't so the government went to a man named Di'Allessandro to kill Giancana. And Di'Allessandro completed the mission. CIA was trained by the mob to do all the covert actions they say they invented? ha ha Today the Russian mob is in power and they refused to take Saddam out because they have an interest there, Arms sales, Drug Sales? and no loyalty to America. But the Sicillian had loyalty to America, for sure. It was a man by the name of Luciano who helped us in WW II to find and capture Mussolini. This is why he cannot admit it. He would have to tell the people he is not planning all of this, and it is not his ideas?
And that he alone is not capable of anything. It is the powers behind him and he goes along as a dutiful son of his Dad and Mom, for their wants and desires, of what America should be. They play like they are not dirty and the tie and the suits and the white on white attitudes, with the idea that everyone else is dirty. And they are politicians, and statesman? No way they are Huns and thugs using people for their ideas and their muscle too. as usual with them.

How ever said it was a failure? The media foucsses on the negative s. There has been improvment on other issues, like builiding schools and things like that. Be responsible when asking questions.

because it would mean the democrats were right the whole time and Cheney wouldn't make any more profits on Haliburton. They're despicable people and I can't fathom why people still defend him and this decision. Our soldiers are in harms way, and he put them there for what?
Why haven't we found Osama Bin Laden? We're over there trying to change people who don't understand democracy under the guise of the war on terror, meanwhile the man who claims responsibility for Sept. 11 continues to roam freely? Where the justice in that?

Because he hasn't failed. John Glenn says it better than I ever could.
_____________________-
JOHN GLENN SAID;
Things that make you think a little:
There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq in January.
In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the
month of January. That's just one American city,
about as deadly as the entire war-torn country of Iraq .
When some claim that President Bush shouldn't
have started this war, state the following:
a. FDR led us into World War II.
b. Germany never attacked us; Japan did.
From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost ...
an average of 112,500 per year.
c. Truman finished that war and started one in Korea
North Korea never attacked us.
From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost ...
an average of 18,334 per year.
d John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962.
Vietnam never attacked us.
e. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire.
From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost ..
an average of 5,800 per year.
f. Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent.
Bosnia never attacked us.
He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three
times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on
multiple occasions.
g. In the years since terrorists attacked us , President Bush
has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled
al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.
The Democrats are complaining
about how long the war is taking.
But
It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno
to take the Branch Davidian compound.
That was a 51-day operation.
We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons
in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find
the Rose Law Firm billing records.
It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the
Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard
than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his
Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.
It took less time to take Iraq than it took
to count the votes in Florida !!!!
Our Commander-In-Chief is doing a GREAT JOB!
The Military morale is high!
The biased media hopes we are too ignorant
to realize the facts
But Wait .
There's more!

Some people still don't understand why military personnel
do what they do for a living. This exchange between
Senators John Glenn and Senator Howard Metzenbaum
is worth reading. Not only is it a pretty impressive
impromptu speech, but it's also a good example of one
man's explanation of why men and women in the armed
services do what they do for a living.
This IS a typical, though sad, example of what
some who have never served think of the military.
Sen ator Metzenbaum (speaking to Senator Glenn):
"How can you run for Senate
when you've never held a real job?"
Senator Glenn (D-Ohio):
"I served 23 years in the United States Marine Corps.
I served through two wars. I flew 149 missions.
My plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire on 12 different
occasions. I was in the space program. It wasn't my
checkbook, Howard; it was my life on the line. It was
not a nine-to-five job, where I took time off to take the
daily cash receipts to the bank."
"I ask you to go with me ... as I went the other day...
to a veteran's hospital and look those men ...
with their mangled bodies . in the eye, and tell THEM
they didn't hold a job!
You go with me to the Space Program at NASA
and go, as I have gone, to the widows and Orphans
of Ed White, Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee...
and you look those kids in the eye and tell them
that their DADS didn't hold a job.
You go with me on Memorial Day and you stand in
Arlington National Cemetery , where I have more friends
buried than I'd like to remember, and you watch
those waving flags.
You stand there, and you think about this nation,
and you tell ME that those people didn't have a job?
What about you?"
For those who don't remember ..
During W.W.II, Howard Metzenbaum was an attorney
representing the Communist Party in the USA.
Now he's a Senator!
If you can read this, thank a teacher.
If you are reading it in English thank a Veteran.

Because he's a lame duck president who wants to look good to the very few supporters that he has, which is NOT working. Maybe he wants to be remembered as the president who "stayed the course" until the end of his tenure.

Lets see all that stuff about building schools and all that is grand. Lets see where he got the money from..... the schools that are on military bases. He took $172 million from military schools. So much for no child left behind. Us parents are the ones that are paying for the basic needs of the school.

4,500 schools rebuilt / remodeled
180,000+ Iraqi troops now trained
8 million new textbooks distributed
15 provinces out of 18 are now peaceful.
30,000 Iraqi border guards trained
Sounds like a big failure to me.
