Talcum Powder
Pour talcum powder on the stain. Let it dry and shake it off. The wine stain is gone
Salt
Another idea is to put cold water on the stain as soon as possible. Then sprinkle some salt over it. Allow to sit for a few minutes. Rinse the salt. Repeat again and again until the stain is gone.
Boiling Water
When you first spill the wine, the liquid hasn't set into the fabric yet. If it's clothing, then stretch it out over a pan and then pour boiling water through it. The stain should wash right out. If it's something like a carpet, you can't pour water through it but you can still treat it with boiling water. Put the water on a washcloth (preferably a clean white one with no dyes) and blot the stain until it comes up. Be sure to rinse the cloth often.
White Wine
take out your wine stain with – more WINE! White wine can actually be helpful to help you get rid of red wine stains, even if they have dried and set into the fabric.
Baking Soda
Create a baking soda paste. The baking soda will help soak up the color of the wine stain if you mix it with a bit of water to create a paste and let it sit and soak.
Detergent and Hot Water
Use hot water and a bit of dishwashing detergent. Blot carefully at the stain. Don’t rub it in- it will only set the stain more or move it around and make it bigger. Blot gently at the stain and pull the red up from the fabric, washing the cloth often to keep it clean.
Another good idea for wine stain situations is prevention. Whenever you are actually able to prevent the stain to begin with, you have less to stress over.

Try club soda first to get the majority out. Just pour some on and then blot it up with a clean dry white rag. Don't rub or it could spread. If that doesn't get it all up Spot Shot takes out almost anything. You can get it just about anywhere. Test it in a small area first though for color fastness. Nothing like replacing a red stain with a white stain.

I just recently tried the salt on a red wine spill. It worked! It made a paste like substance that I was able to lift right off the carpet.

STEP 1: Blot the spill with paper towels or a clean white cloth.
STEP 2: Combine 1 teaspoon dish soap, like Dawn and 1 cup hydrogen peroxide in a small bowl. Soak a clean sponge in the mixture, squeeze it halfway dry, then gently blot the stain. Continue until the stain lifts.
STEP 3: Sponge the stained area with warm water.
STEP 4: Blot dry with a clean cloth or paper towels.
Act immediately. The longer a stain sits, the harder it is to remove.

Try that dual stain remover for cloths. It's shout or spray N' Wash or something like that. It's in a container that the two liquids are seperated and they activate when you pour it on the stain. I used it on my carpet when my kids spilt red kool aid on my carpet. It took it right out. I put it on there and shampooed the spot.
