Hmmm I don't know, but I've never had any problems giving them to my son.
Umm I give him whole raw mushrooms. I give him whole raw foods and whole cooked foods all the time. Mushrooms are soft, bland(well button ones) and high
They are high in fibre, b vitamins, selenium, and potassium.

Why is it so important for you to give a 7 month old, mushrooms. He might not even like them! Who cares.

he should be fine just make sure that your there next to him the first few times just to make sure that he doesnt choke..
its the same with all foods realy he'll tell you if he doesnt want them but dont give in if he just throws it away keep giving them him.
whole, raw and cooked all are the same...

NO WAY - He is too young check out Gerber or beechnut website. You could give him allergies by starting him too early on wierd foods, esp. fungus.

I should think they're fine now as long as well washed , cooked and mashed up well with his other food.

I think if they are mashed up, it should be fine, but I wouldn't give him a whole one to eat.
