A bilateral ear infection, I was in complete agony for over 2 weeks and was admitted to hospital 3x in the middle of the night. I couldn't lay my head down, the glands on my neck swelled up like mumps and throbbed in pain ,i couldn't swallow, eat or sleep,i had lost my hearing because my ear canals had closed and were leaking puss (I know Ewwwww lol) it felt like someone was pushing red hot pokers into my ears and on top of that my head thumped constantly,I am diabetic and because i couldn't swallow i couldn't take my medication and my sugar levels went haywire making me feel even more like crap.I can't describe the pain in words.

Well, I've never had a baby, but I did get hit by a car once while I was rollerblading. I flew pretty far and got some bad road rash and some broken bones. It was a hit and run so I had to hobble back to my car and drive myself to the hospital. Ouch! I also crashed my motorcycle doing 55mph and got some really bad road rash and lost a piece of my hand. I had to drive the bike the 50 miles back home. Needless to say, I neither rollerblade or ride a motorcycle (unless I'm on the back) anymore.
Oh! and worst of all was the tick bite I got and didn't know about until it was too late. I didn't lyme disease or anything, but the pain of the tick toxin in my blood was like have needles coarsing through my veins. It was the worst!

Giving birth to my son. Imagine all your limbs being slowly torn off your body as you become more and more dialated and your contractions get worse and worse.
Imagine your mind becoming so numb that when you're looking straight at the wall trying to find comfort in such an ungodly amount of pain, to others it looks like you've just seen the anti-christ.
It was the most painful thing I've ever been through, but THE MOST REWARDING.

My C-Section recovery. I was passing out from blood loss, my abdominal area hurt so bad, I could barely walk, yet, the Nurses made you do so for your benefit. I was in so much pain I could hardly stand it, or stand up for that matter.
However, I will say, it passed within a couple of days. My son is beautiful, and the benefits far outweighed the costs.

Dear Jay Dee,
Far far more painful than my C-sections was an unwanted divorce at 25 years of marriage.
It was like having open heart surgery lying on a cold basement floor without benefit of anesthesia or like committing hari-kari (sp?) and living through it.
I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Not the worst thing to ever happen to someone but I sprayed Brak-kleen in my eyes. My contacts started to disintegrate before I could clean my hands and get them out. My eyes hurt for the better part of three days.

A sunburn over poison ivy.
Twice in my life I have broken my back. Once in a motorcycle accident and once in a trampoline incident.
Sunburn over poison ivy is worse.

Hernia surgery. I would describe it as getting stabbed in the crotch. Ouch!
