I wish we would use some of the millions we are spending in these other countries; especailly the ones that have been the same and believed the same for over 2000 years, and try to help our citizens with issues like health care insurance and prescription drug coverage.

I think we need to take care of our own.We are spending billions in Iraq a country in which its citizens hate themselves-they have been at war for thousands of years and our political laders think they can change the way they think.

We always were worldly here and remember the people here are not originally from here? The population of this country during WW II started realizing when their families left behind in Euro were under seige that they were loyal to them as well and were torn, especially Germans, and Japanese, and whoever was with them? The people here were always sending money there and helping and our government was as well. Let us say they wanted the best of both worlds selfishly? The people here were segregated and cruel to other cultures as well. Polish against Irish, British against Irish, Russians against German. They brought all that Euro trash with them. Cultures are nice but that should be left in the Cuisines. They now all need a special diet of eating Crow. For they are ridiculous. Their priorities got messed up for sure. Look at the Titanic in 1912 and the passenger list?
People traveled freely and wanted to see and have the best of both worlds, or get a new start in America? If you look at the extreme prejudice that was displayed actions against the Native American tribes? You will see the selfish heartlessness and the genecide, and then they talk about G-D? What a world we live in today huh? It has not gotten any better it is worse. The continuation of world destruction. If only they could carry light baggage? And stop with all this misplaced loyaty to other countries and the business deals, with their relatives and fiends abroad and then they polarize our work force and no jobs no health insurand and no medicine for our needy. It will get worse with every new culture trying to get into the chains of command. Now we have the Muslim and they want their turn to rule here, The Mexican, and don't forget The Nazi boy Arnie Schwartzenager, wants to be president? Come on? He was in a Nazi youth camp as a boy and he always wanted to rule the world he was brainwashed. And so are all the rest, a bunch of hypenated Americans. Afro-American, Hispanic-American, Muslim-American, and their pride is wrong and it is an insult to any real American. We have heritage here and loyalty here and we are not trying to prove anything at all about some Euro trash or a third world country. Oh yes we will help you after we take care of our own. Now we have the idea of wanting a woman for president, a first, black, hispanic, muslim, gay, and then we will have a foreigner that was a Nazi? Come on we just want to live our lives not prove something selfishly, and we have a responsibility to this country not your culture, race creed color, religion or sex gender or sexual preferences? How horrible they are tearing us apart piece by piece with all their trifling BS. Oh and one more thing, Jews were not allowed in this country after the war just like the American natives genecide and then sent to a reservation called Cyprus and they owned Germany before WW II so why did we take Germany and split it with Russia and set them a float? Because they wanted it all for themselves and stay segregated in pieces. So now that they gave their blood sweat tears to build a beautiful land in Israel, as Germany was before WW II, the world wants to take that too? Or blame them?
Come on? Have you ever heard of a Jewish Ghetto? or orphanage? Please ha ha ha ha Credit where credit is due. And that is why America helps Israel because we owe them lots of money Big money, and they are loyal to this country, they don't want to impose on you their religion or their culture. They mind their own business. I love them they are great and I am a Christian, I also love that Jewish Rabbi named Jesus? You know the Son of Jehovah?

You make an excellent point! Merle Haggard recently sang a song about Helping America First. Where the Republicans always claim the Dems "Blame America First" (untrue claim), at least the Dems won't "Help America Last" like the Republicans do.

Well, the US didn't worry much about Afghanistan until 3,000 US citizens were killed by a terrorist group headquartered there and supported by that government.
The US didn't worry much about Japan taking over countries in the Pacific and Asia until their naval planes killed over 2,000 US citizens on December 2nd 1941.
That's what happens when you become isolationist.
