You've got to admire the companies that produce these overpriced items, they really see the suckers coming. If this is merely a skin cream at an inflated price, then she needs spelt out to her in no uncertain terms that something you rub into your face is not going to make any difference at £145 from a £2.99 tub of Nivea. Your skin has several layers of dead keratinised cells, which form an impenetrable barrier. If this stuff could get through them, it probably wouldn't be allowed to be sold. When people claim it works for them, it is almost certainly wishful thinking.
Tell her to use some common sense. Just because it is expensive, it doesn't mean it actually does anything special.

that is a crazy amount to spend on anti-wrinkle! If she has enough money for it..then I guess why not! But if its being bought at a struggle and theres no actualy evidence of it working then I don't think its worth it. You can't escape the glorys of growing older - and 35 is hardly old! Here is a link for that anti-wrinkle stuff, if you havent seen it:

But I think that the best is going for less expensive things like healthy food, here is a link how to reduce and prevent wrinkles. e.g specific foods:

Hope this helps

There are products over the counter that will do just as nice of a job. Also, at 35 she might not need it. She might just need to be preventative right now with a daily SPF.

If she makes a decent wage than, it's her decision to make this purchase. But, if it is a frivolous purchase she can't afford, I would have a conversation with her.

Yes it does but it takes a few months and when you stop using it you go back to the way you were before you started..a far cheaper way to get proven treatment for aging (scientifically proven) is to go to the doctor and get a prescription for a retinol product...start with a very mild retinolcream 3 nights a week for a few months if you need to go up to a higher strength of cream..the drawback is she may experience redness for a while and skin peeling, but this is all normal..and will get better...i have been using .05% for years...and i am 50 and it is the best..i also use some fancy creams, occasionally but retinol is better

it will not work to the degree she thinks, it is all good marketing. Most of these wonder creams are based on elasteens which tighten the skin around the area applied, these are based on far cheaper creams that treat a more common ailment ie heamoroids. Tell your daughter she looks great as she is and save her money,

Good God woman, you can feed a whole African village for £145.00.
It only works to bolster the profits of the manufacturer. Don't do it. It's outrageous to charge that much for a little pot of face cream. Be a good parent and reassure the lass that she's lovely as she is.

Tell her to spend the money on a new outfit and a hairdo.
She will stand more chance of feeling happy with herself.

I think you should try to explain to her that she's going to get old eventually, and hiding it really only makes her seem immature.

But that's just my opinion.
