If you earned wages, you will recieve a W-2. You have to earn a certain amount before you have to file but will you still want to do it. If you earned just a little during the year, you will probably be refunded ALL of your federal taxes.

They are supposed to send you your W-2 by Jan 31 but actually as long as you have it by Feb 15 the IRS will not want to get involved. You should definitely file if you owe money or are getting money back. If nothing was withheld and you are not required to file, you do not need to file.
Actually you have 3 years after April 15 to file for a refund.

Companies have until the end of January to send out W-4's (the form or statement you need in order to file). You then have until April 15th to file your taxes. I suggest you get tin the habit of doing it as soon as you get all the forms that you need.

If you didn't earn over $700, you needn't file. But the company has until January 31 to get your W-2 to you.

you can still file until April 16th (this year - normally the 15th) - but you'll need your w-2 from your employer. Go to payroll, and get it -usually they will mail it to the address listed with them when you worked there... but if it was a small company they can sometimes be PITA's
