I'm a drummer, and even though my kit is electronic, I'd like to find a place that garantees I won't be hassled over playing it at reasonable hours.

***The drums do not actually put out drum sounds, it basically sounds as if you took a drumstick and were hitting rubber and mesh with it. It's no louder than someone tapping their foot, please be aware of this when answering.***

Well..maybe louder than tapping your foot, but not nearly as bombastic as you'd expect.

I highly doubt that you are going to find any complex that will allow you to play drums in your unit.
The land lord has to take into consideration ALL of their tenants, and odds are you will annoy someone with playing your drums. The land lord will not risk having their currents tenants move out so you can play your drums.

**I understand that they may not be all that loud at all, but at the same time some people in these complexes will complain about ANYTHING!! Trust me I work in this area and the things that some people complain is just crazy..and if the a landlord gets a complaint they HAVE to act on it...so you would be better off just trying to find a house or something.

Regardless of how little the sound is, there are NO guarantees that you wont get hassled over it. I got a downstairs neighbor who complained she could hear us WALK across the floor at all hours. Yeah, we were awake at any given time, but that should be our right, right? Not our fault the building was built badly. Maybe you should try and rent a house instead.
