Sims Deluxe Edition?

i just bought the Sims Deluxe Edition and need to know if i need anything else to start off. i can't get it load so i figured i may need another one. Please help!

Put your cd into the cd drive, and the program should start up by itself.

Click install Sims.

mine took 4 ever to load, try putting in the disk, click
start
run
type in setup
love the sims

get another sims and dont play that 1
