Hey guys. Basically, im having problems with my sound. I have got my speakers connected up, and my speakers work fine. I came back from school today, and there was no sound coming out of the speakers. I believe my speakers are fine, all the connections are ok, and the blue light that indicates the speakers are on, is on. Is there anything you guys can suggest to me that i may do. For example, is there anything i could do on control panel. I could really do with the help. Many Thanks.

I would try this:

> start
- Settings
- Control Panel
- System
- Hardware Tab
- Device Manager

and see if your sound card is ok, if there is a " ! " with a little yellow triangle around it then its not ok and you need to "update drivers"

if that doesnt work then go to:

> start
- Settings
- Control Panel
- sounds and audio devices

and make sure the volume is up and not on mute there, while your in that window go to audio and make sure nothing is blank, if it is scroll down and find an audio device.

cheak for your devices then look for your sound card it may be outdated or it may be broken could be anything dude but if it was outdated or broken then it would tell you there it will tell you wats wrong with it.... or it should

would give you a step by step guid to getting to it ..but i kinda cant remember the process lol

tho you can go into control pannel, open sound and audio devices then click the top folder called hardware then it will open a new window with trouble shoot and tell you if the device is working properly.... theres a few ov em so it may take some time good luck dude

check for the computer's volume controls.. or maybe you have a faulty sound card.
