Yes it defently can work but the big question will be comming latter when the person that has no kids wants one of there own. Will the person that already has kids want one or two more with the one that dont have any. That will be the big question.

When I dated my now husband, he had a 4 and 6 year old, and I had no kids. I was not in mommy mode at all, but I did want to have a good relationship with his kids. He made it very clear to me that his kids come first, but he also treated me very well, and demanded that his kids treated me well. Not to say that there weren't some rough spots occasionally, but there was never a feeling of them (the kids) vs. me, and now it's to the point, we've been married 10 years, that my stepkids will call me first sometimes....I don't pretend to be their mommy, and I have no legal say in their life, but I am very devoted and caring and have GIVEN a lot of love and effort towards them (money too...LOL) but it is HOW IT SHOULD BE. I have step-parents myself, and they gave me a great example, so maybe if you find a woman who's had a good stepmom herself, even though she doesn't have kids, she may still make a great stepmom. I wanted to add that I did not/do not love kids in general, so the people telling you to look for someone who works w/kids etc, I don't think that's a prerequisite.

That is an obstacle that would take two very special people to take on together. I think that all relationships and the factors involved are simply based on the two people involved. . .there is no real way to generalize an answer to such a question for there are no two souls that are exactly the same. . .
Good luck in finding what you're looking for.

If you find the right person it doesn't matter. I have been on dates with guys who wanted to keep seeing me, but weren't really comfortable with me having a child and I had to tell them "buh bye!" I finally found a perfect man that loves me and my son and he has never been married and doesn't have kids. He's great. There are good people out there. You just haven't found the RIGHT person yet.

I think it will take meeting the right person. The man/woman would have to like children and be open to the situation. My friends ex married a worman that didnt have kids and didnt want them but is a wonderful stepmother to her 2 boys. Just be selective and watch out for weirdos.

Yes it could work. You need to find someone who enjoys kids and has patience. Or someone with kids would be perfect for you. I have 3, and I've found a perfect guy who's willing to take care of me and my kids. He has none. I can't even have anymore, but he doesn't care, he takes care of mine like their his. Which is really good b/c their real father is a deadbeat dad. You'll find someone one day, it just might take awhile.
