Why does she sing like this? If you never had seen her, but only heard her, you would think it was a black woman singing.

Is she a black person born into a white persons body? You know like how gay people are born a certain way, but they feel to be another way?

Discuss why she sings like this. Its over dramatic if you ask me. I remember them making fun of her for this on SNL.

Why does it have to always be about race? Black, white, whatever, she sings beautifully, who cares what color she is?

Most black people are thought to sing in a soulful manner. Christina sings from her stomach and not her throat, which causes a "soulful" sound. Sometimes it may be looked as "over dramatic", but she has a wonderful/powerful voice. Most people obviously don't agree with what you say because she wouldn't be so popular if they didn't like her voice.

Personaly, being black and a singer at that, I don't believe she sounds black but she has a great voice. I would be able to tell, she wasn't a black female, but I would still put her on the list for being a good singer. Nothing racial, just the truth. For example, Celine Dion is a great singer, but she doesnt come close to sounding black, and sounding black does not mean sounding good. There are black singers who cannot sing, I think Christinas voice is close to the actual pitch of a black females. Hope this helps.

I think she was brought up listening to and being educated with the greats-Ella, Billie, Etta, etc. I think she has a powerful instrument and uses it to her best ability. As far as SNL, I have heard many people say they didn't realize they were famous til SNL parodied them, so it's a great compliment!

Why does Al Roker talk like a white person? Your just putting cliche's on how you think people should act (and sing). Come to think of it, what's up with that Eminem? Rapping like he's black and all!

And so is Anastasia. Isn't that unique? they both have wonderful voices. I'm not black but I think black people have the strongest and most beautiful voices among all races.

Huh? She sings the way she does because that's who she is. And I don't think at all that she sings like a person of any race. She just sings. And it's beautiful.

So black people sing in a certain way? Isn't that racist?

Why is it about race? Dressing, singing, dancing...etc. a certain way should never even bring up race.
