This is probably a question far too vague to really be worth answering--but then again, what is Yahoo! Answers made for? I'm just one of those many teenagers going through that frustrating phase called "adolescence" and was wondering if there was a good way to clear your mind, calm down, sort out your thoughts and problems, and just darn solve them.

I agree with the journal thing. It is amazing how much you learn about yourself with a journal. I was 15 and a Jr. in High school when my Honors English teacher made us create a "Writer's Notebook." Talk about self reflection! I would search through newspapers, poems, emails, photos, and other misc items. I would glue them in my notebook and just write about them. I could write for hours. I put my sister's wedding program in it and wrote about the experience of being in her wedding. I put old pictures of me and friends on field trips or proms. I would post song lyrics and reflect on what the song meant to me and why I connected with it. I still have the notebook and I read it quite often.

If that seems like too much effot just start a blog online. I have one on blogger.com and I choose to keep it private. Typing is so much easier than writing these days especially when your thoughts are going a million miles a minute.

Good luck to you.. just know that you will get through this!

I talk out loud a lot--at night, especially, like while I'm in the shower. Talking out loud and hearing my voice helps me organize what's happened during that day that I need to process. I pretend I'm explaining it to someone else, because that helps me realize what's most important to me about what's going on in my life. Then, I can decide better what I need and want and should do. Sometimes I journal--usually on my computer, because i can type faster than I can write. And sometimes, when I'm not sure where to start, I take out a sheet of paper and doodle, or scribble with crayons--then the words start flowing. I'm not much of an artist--i still use stick figures :)--but it works for me! I did a lot of journalling and talking when I was a teen, and I still do (I'm 20 now). Good luck, and hope some of this stuff helps!

Journaling has always been helpful for me. I've been keeping a journal since I was 12 years old. If you're not big on the whole "Dear Diary" thing, it've found the same benefit by writing letters, blogs, etc. I am also a big list-maker. Lately, I've been doing yoga but any physical activity that you enjoy is good. I also believe that everyone needs at least one friend who knows how to have a decent exchange when it comes to those big issues in life - if you don't have one, find one.

This is the age we get all type of thoughts its natural. You can easily control it by prayers, if u don’t like to pray then say this “ This world is filled with sin & we are sinners” u can sort it if u still cant then close your eyes because eyes are our main enemy
