Not in the U.K, but I tried to buy some thermal socks in France and they had sold out. My poor Tootsies were freezing.xx

Like another answerer said, it is likely to snow some time in this month, even going into February. Jeans, a t-shirt/shirt, a jumper and a coat and maybe some gloves should be enough for the coldest days. Most of the time I just wear a t-shirt and a hoodie and people always ask me how I'm not freezing my a*** off. I just don't really feel the cold lol. It's pretty much chilly here all the time early in the year, but some days will get very cold. 20 degrees Celsius is quite hot here, with highest temperatures in the Summer only reaching around 26 degrees Celsius. Apparently the average low temperature is around 12 degrees Celsius but it often gets much colder. For example, it's forecast to be 7 degrees Celsius on Monday and 9 on Tuesday.

I work in a local garage workshop, It's FREEZING!
I wear thermal vests & knickers to work every day!
The only problem is my husband says if i have an accident there's no way he's gonna identify my body & admit that his wife wears such unflattering stuff LOL

Yes actually i did. A nice vest and mega long pants. One needs to keep themselves warm in this weather don't you know.
