Yes, this one day i stayed after school for my drama club, and we were painting the setting, and i was doing it barefoot, and my feet got so black and dirty that i didn't even put on my sneakers when we were done, i walked home barefoot and they got even blacker.

I wasn't a barefooter in school yet and I hadn't ever heard of anyone who went barefoot in public places, so no... I didn't wear those really fashionable tight shoes much even in high school & college but even if my feet had hurt I don't think I'd have gotten the idea to take them off and do without. No one else did.
We did have PE barefoot, that's normal here in the Netherlands. And no, kids don't have a lot of foot fungus!

No. I don't like walking barefoot unless it's at the beach or a pool. I usually wear socks at home for warmth.
