why, because its not a big city state. I resent that question, I'm not from Kentucky ,and i consider myself as a hilly billy and damn proud of it.Stop stereotyping people

A lot of them are, including a big chunk of my family, but that branch extends into the HILLS of NC too. Let us not forget some notable Kentuckians, though-Johnny Depp comes to mind (Owensboro), and I have not seen (much) hillbilly behavior in him.

Stupid question,it's like asking are all Californians gay.No Kentuckians are not all hillbillies.
