That depends on whether you have children, and even then, you can always find ways to give each other some loving. You can go by the Stats which say roughly about 2 times a week. However, this can vary vastly on what is occurring each week. I mean if the wife is on her period, that limits you to two days of possible lovemaking already assuming she rather not do so when she is experiencing the "crimson tide."
Realistically, you can't narrow it down to one number because it does vary. I would say minimum once a week, and on a really good week about three times. I was once married to a guy who only wanted sex every 6-8 weeks! DEFINITELY NOT normal. :)

Been married for 6 years and for 6 years we have had sex 1 time a week, 2 times at the most a week. I believe this about average.

I think I remembered hearing that the average is actually 2-3 times a week. In this article, it says 1-2 times a week. But the article also has some good advice about this topic as well.

Been married for 13 years and I think for a healthy married, at least 7. That of course consists of both individuals doing the right things to help each other out in daily life. Team work is sexy therefore brings sex!

Varies I suppose with what is happening in the couples life that particular week. One week love making sessions may occur nightly or many times that evening. Other weeks perhaps only once or not at all. Lots of variables involved in all honesty.

Just as many as you both want, there is no number on making love to each other. The best time is the right time if it once a day 3 times or whatever. Do what you want and if feels good , do it.

How ever many work for the both of you. I'd say you are doing well to make love once or twice a week. Hell some married couples would kill to have sex more than once a month.

It's not the quantity, it's the quality. Why pressure yourself to a number of days? It should not be scheduled or routine. Make it spontaneous and exciting. Otherwise the marriage is bound to be in trouble later on.
