With all of the media attention pointing towards the man accused of killing two black men in 1964, I started to wonder if the KKK still existed today. I had thought that it was done away with years ago.

Oh NO the KKK is alive and well..they are lying low these days but they are still going full blast....There is a whole KKK clan not too far from where i live in Houston Texas..They were holding rally,s along the freeway up until last year....but I think the people complained and they had to stop them from making a public display...

Yes, the KKK still exists. They still have their rallies and marches. They're just not as open as they used to be, they don't burn crosses (not that I know of) You can't do away w/the Klan. There's nothing the government or anyone else can do to stop a group of people meeting and expressing their views which I think is totally unfortunate in the KKK's case.

As long as the fallen nature of man's sinfulness exists, which will be until the second coming of Christ, there will always be such bigoted hate groups such as the KKK and the Black Extremists. The government can only keep such groups' actions in some semblance of check. They will never be able to totally eliminate man's unjustified prejudice hatred of his fellow man.

The KKK does still exist. In fact you would probably be surprised just how many people in this country are still active members of this group. It is just not as open as it was in the early 1900's.

I know they used to exist not far from me the grand whatever he is. We got some hate mail in our local newspaper of all things (they must be newspaper boys) and info about anti Semitic things anti black things etc. Like if we want to get more info etc. ugh I called the newspaper and no one else got the garbage. I always blamed it on being very fair skinned with toe head boys (white blond) And the nazis used to protest in Chicago I remember. They are prob still out there just covertly.

The KKK is still out there, especially in the south. They are kind of hush-hush but I'm sure if the occasion warranted it, they could make an appearance anywhere at their choosing.

They still exist because they still rally but it really low key now a days. When I was station at Fort Knox, we werent allowed to go to this town nearby because of it.
