i need reasons. also, gears of war is 3rd person. is it easy to learn to play and is it arcadish sorta like halo 1 and 2. and rainbow six vegas, is it like counter strike. i downloaded the demo but the 360 broke. wat features do u like on each and wats online like for both

I have played both here is my Comparison
Gears of war offers a more dynamic story line with a much better control method. also dying in Gears of War is not as devestating as in Raibow Six. In rainbow six, you could get through almost an entire stage, die, and have to do the whole thing over after about 30 minutes of sneeking around. Gears of war has check points.
Multiplayer, gears of war is phenominal. rainbow 6 not so good. Also, the pgrahics and sounds of gears of war are much better, the story line is much cooler and I think overall you will like gears of war better.
My vote is for gears of war, you will not be disappointed.

honestly i like gears of war better. it just looks awsome. not that rainbow six doesnt look great, but theres no game like gears of war. i dont think its like halo because in halo u can just run up on people n pop a cap in there @ss. but in gears of war u have to hide n shoot. im not to sure of the online features becuase ive neva been online with it.

Gears of War is a awesome game. It takes a little bit of time to get used to it but the graphics are absolutely amazing
Rainbow is less hardcore fighting and more sneak and strike.

RSV is realistic yes, but your health regens over time. So if you get shot 1-2 times and dont die then you will be back to full health in a few sec. Also I prefer the cover and shooting in RSV to that of GoW...I think it is more fluid in RSV. As far as online play RSV is better imo. Also I dont like the weaponery in GoW, plus shooters are made to be First person not 3rd person.

in case you mean 2 participant as in 2 participant chop up exhibit screen, then unreal tournament or call of duty 3 will be correct for you. in case you mean 2 participant as in 2 participant co-op, then i am going to't really call that many correct off the bat...

i love gears of war, hands down. it's one of the best games out there, if not the best.
