I can answer that because I do it all the time....living in Florida it just become a habit....just like putting your shoes on when going out the door....i wear them on my head sometimes also...it also helps me hide from the world...like you don't have to make eye contact with people when you wear your sunglasses.

I live by a saying i made up:
"there's only 2 kinds of people who wear sunglasses when it's not sunny out; blind people, and D-bags....and I don't see a blind-person-cane in your hand...."
i have spoken, child. Now go and spread the knowledge!

My eyes get watery whenever there's a gush of wind and during winter months. It looks like I'm crying and it irritates my eyes so.

They look hot. Plus, from having contacts and wearing sunglasses all the time my eyes are really sensitive to light (even when it's not really sunny). So, I wear them almost all the time, especially when driving.
Also.. sunglasses help prevent wrinkles around the eye area because you're not squinting all the time.

Mostly fashion. If you look at what shades they wear when it's not sunny, it's mostly expensive designers stuff..But some people also have sensitive eyes. I, for example, might wear shades on a gloomy day if the snow is on the ground. Might be still too bright for me to look at it, as I spend all day looking at the monitor screen and the eyes get tired...

Migraines, my friend. I wear a pair of shades on my head every minute that I'm away from my house in case I get a migraine. They're the worst!

Because some peoples eyes are really sensitive to light even though it's not really bright. I have that problem and get asked this question frequently.
