The judges don't seem to be enjoying themselves very much at all. Most of the time they sit there and look frustrated and bored. Even Paula who usually acts like she's popped one to many wake up pills is unusually quiet and sullen. Is the end of American Idol near? Or will they just replace the judges?

They are only showing the best and worst acts. The do not even show half the the good acts that pass. The bad ones are added on purpose for entertainment value. I just want to know what Paula was dressed up as last night. Looked like Little Bo Peep.

You are so right on this. I watched last night and Simon didn't even show up for part of the judging. They said he was hungover. They do all look bored. I think American Idol is facing an end. Even I, as a viewer, was bored watching the "bad acts." When this show first appeared on television, this was the part I really found entertaining. Now boring and Sad. (Much like Paula herself)

I would be bored too, but watching the highlights is so funny!! Personally I think they should have a group of people listen too these people first and get rid of the horrible ones, leaving the judges the only with the people who can at least carry a tune.

There was one contestant on last night that said that she heard that the judges were out until 3am. Wonder if that is correct?? Not all of us can have a job like that. Guess they can look and feel like crap and still have a number 1 rating. I will still watch, love the competition.
