the only thing i found was that Risa (boy) is the czech form of Richard, and Risa (girl) is latin for laughter.

I don't know. But I hate this name. My boyfriend likes it and something about it bothers me. Sounds like Lisa but not pronounced right.

Or I think of the word derisive.
