He's a failure, but having a woman and black candidate doesn't prove that.

No, that's not proof of why a female and a black person could not run for and win the Presidential election. It's proof that you are obviously a bigot, and if people vote based on color or gender the U.S. has not seen the worst yet, Have you ever used a light bulb, stopped at a signal light, used a refrigerator, or God forbid, ever need a heart transplant, just to name a few. Gee, I would trust a female and a black in a heartbeat. What is GB excuse for the way he is running the country again?

Nope. Its a testament to how confident the Democrats have become.
That, or it's a testament to how powerful the Republican machine has become. The USA will not elect a Black man or a Woman for another generation at least. The fact that the Republicans are facing the two of them as the major contenders means the Republicans will keep the white house in 2008.

What in the hell does George W. Bush have to do with the fact that we are at long last becomming a progressive nation that is beginning to base decisions on something more substantial than a persons race or gender?

You sound as if you don't approve and no, i don't think the choice of the democratic nominations has anything to do with George Bush, more to do with John Kerry and his failure, I'm not American though, so you should perhaps take note of what they have to say.

I guess the theory is, he's doing so bad we could even slip in the first woman or minority president.
Unfortunately, Edwards is the only Dem. that has a chance. They have no chance of pulling any south or midwest states. None of the backwards white trash red states would ever vote for a woman or black person.

They are not all female or Black.
Wake up.
In all likelihood, neither Hillary NOR Obama will win the Democratic nomination... and the Republicans are even further up in the air.
That's not even mentioning all the third party non-female, non-Black candidates.

Who cares what their candidates are - color or sex - that is not a reflection of Bush - that's a reflection of how the liberals don't have any real candidates for president in 2008.

No I don't think so, I think it is America at its finest, it is the American dream come true for all in this country. George Bush's failures can be measured in many ways but this is not one of them.

No, but your question shows proof of your ignorance. I hope you don't have a car accident and the only person around to help you is a black woman. Have a good day!
