I need help to make my lipstick last longer and let me tell you I have tried everything...e.g. blotting it first then putting on another layer, putting foundation on the lips first, blotting it with pressed powder through a tissue. So far the best trick I have found is to use lipcote...but it somehow distorts the colour a bit when I use it? Any suggestions on how to make lipstick last longer????

Use lip liner pencil on all of your lips and coat with clear gloss after, the color will last.

It might depend on the lipstick you're using. I know Covergirl has a lip ink line. The package comes with a lipcolor, and a clear gloss. Apply the color, let it dry, and put the gloss on over it. They have alot of colors, too. It's slightly expensive, but it really does last all day, so you don't need alot. This is what I used when I worked long hours and was not able to get a break in to reapply my makeup, and it worked wonders. Hope this helps!

First try using a long lasting lip color. My opinnion is that Lancome Juicy Wear Duo is the BEST long lasting lip color, but it is exspensive! Its $25 but you get the lipstick and the gloss.

Another thing you should try is Benefit's SheLaq. Its like the Lipcote, but it works alot better.

Good luck!

Like a lot of other people said, try a long-lasting lip color.

Some work very well.
