I just don't know what to do with my time. I don't want to go there to hook up, so I was just wondering if you guys ever venture into the Chatrooms... or if you keep busy with Y!A

Yahoo chatrooms are notoriously overrun by bots. So unless you want to talk to an 18 yr old chick from Cali who is really a program run by some old pervert in a windowless apartment...better try something else...

I have never been in a chat room nor do I ever anticipate going in one... I have heard too many negative things about them and I am very happily married so they are off limits to me...
I think it is up to each person to decide for themselves, however since you are looking for advice I would say find fun somewhere else...
And yes I usually keep busy with Y/A and 360... That is enough for me... IF it is a special friend then IM is OK but I would still say be careful... You need to know who it really is at the other end... Best wishes to you.... :o) â¥

I have gone there before. It isnt just a pick up place. I went and talked to other parents about kids and family. It is nice because it is like live chat. Almost like talking on the phone. You dont have to wait for a responce lol.

those chat rooms aren't what they used to be. I used to do yahoo chat like ten years ago, and I went on recently to check it out, and it's nothing but people advretising stuff, soliciting for porn, or people typing in weird Arabic language. You'll get more entertainment here, trust me.

I used to but not anymore because some men in chat rooms just want to flirt, they do not respect that some women as myself just want a nice and friendly conversation.

Yahoo chat sucks it used to be good and then to many idiots got in on it. So I stay to yahoo answers, and myspace. I prefer yahoo answers though.
