I did. He talked a lot without really saying much. First he patted himself on the back for all of the great things he's done domestically for the economy and job growth and eduaction. Then he basically said that he doesn't care what the American public or the majority of Congress thinks. He is proceeding with his plan to raise troop levels in Iraq.

I'm counting the days till his term is over. What an embarrassment to this country.

I did. And as a Republican, I have to say that it wasn't his best speech.

Then again, when faced with a divided government and low approval ratings, I can't imagine there would be many people who could walk into the House chamber and give a good speech.

It almost reminded me of the speech that Kevin Kline gave at the end of the movie "Dave" ... just not as uplifting.
