i want to make a screensaver or desk top on my pc.how do i type a item i want to display,do i go to word processing, type the item and then transfer it,or how do i do this?

To make a desktop picture, you have to create a picture of some form (.bmp, .jpg, etc). Then all you do is link that to your desktop. To make a text screen saver, which is what I think your are doing, most computers already have a scrolling text screen saver that you can just enter the text in yourself.

To "make" or create a screen saver is very complicated and requires special software. You can not do it in a word processor.

To CHANGE your screen saver, right click on the desktop
Select Properties from the menu
Go to the Screen Saver tab and in the drop down box select the screen saver you want to use.

To Change your desktop (I am assuming you mean the picture), do the same
Right click on the desktop
Select Properties from the menu
Go to the Desktop tab
Select a pictre from the list - or browse to a new picture

Again, you can not change the desktop picture using a word processor.
