Cool, I have a freind who has recently told me that he/she is transexual and wants sex change, I no little about this or how he/she feels, be good to be able to find out more and support my mate, It must be a really hard thing to do, made worse by a lot of narrow minded idiots out there who only see there own view.

I've only been on lauras-playground so my answer may not be the most complete but I will tell you what I can. Lauras-playground is a welcoming environment that will make you feel at home. The moderators are kind and helpful. The warm and emotionally supportive environment is a great place to help you with any anxiety you may be feeling. You will hear exactly what you need to hear when times are tough and everybody needs a pick-me-up every now and then. The forum is open to all people that fall under the transgender umbrella and not just transsexuals and the diversity is not necessarily a good or a bad thing. Some people might like the idea that it is open and welcoming to a variety of people but others might want to be on a forum meant specifically for people like themselves. The good thing is that there are separate categories concerning different issues so that transsexuals can post in categories that are more appealing to themselves than to other groups. I have not been on susans or true selves so I am not sure about the others but lauras-playground is a kind and welcoming environment that will make you feel like you belong.

I saw. Because this movie I learned a lot about this matter (and I loose my prejudice!).
