Pirates of the Caribbean 1 has the most mistakes I've ever seen. For example,
During Jack's sliding down the rope scene, it is very noticeable that each one of the English soldiers fire their weapons more than once, which is impossible for that time, knowing that repetition weapons weren't invented until the mid 1800's.
Aboard the Pearl, in the close-up of Elizabeth hiding the dinner knife in the napkin, the base of the decorative embossed silver knife handle (area of bolster, where the blade meets the handle) is flat all the way around. However, oddly enough, when she stabs Barbossa moments later, in the close-up of the knife protruding from Barbossa's chest there are two wide ridges circling the base - obviously a different knife.
When Jack first confronts Will at the blacksmith shop, seen behind Jack, hanging on the stone wall near the fireplace are iron masks and other paraphernalia. Later, when Jack sprays the soot at Will, the iron masks and paraphernalia are arranged differently on the wall.
When Jack and Will duel, Jack says, "You need to find yourself a girl, mate," and he takes a mallet from above, Will ducks. In the next back shot of Will as he ducks, the back, left flap of his vest goes up. There is a battery power pack secured with black tape to the left side at the back of Orlando Bloom's pants' waistband. There are several shots during this scene when a small bulge under the back of his vest can be seen.
Harry Potter and The Chamber of Fire has alot too!
At the beginning of the scene near the end of the movie with Lucius Malfoy fuming at Dumbledore in his office, Malfoy's hair is fanned back behind his shoulders. The lighting in the room illuminates the back of his neck, where you can see his real, short brown hair.
In the Quidditch scene, Harry breaks his right arm and cradles it on his chest, but when he is laying on the ground after he falls off his broom, he then leans directly on it when he sits up to get away from the Bludger. In the shot immediately afterward, he has his hand cradled in front of him again.
When in the Whomping Willow, Ron asks, "What's happening?" and Harry replies, "I don't know." After a few other shots, in the next two front close-ups of the boys as they scream, Harry, Ron and Hedwig are not alone in the car. A crew member's HAND is quite visible holding the bottom of Hedwig's cage and in the 2nd close-up is actually laying the cage on its side!!

OK, as to the aroused minister, that is just a knobby knee. Even the artist admits he did not make it as clear as it could have been.
Still in Mermaid, at the ship, Max licks Ariel on the RIGHT cheek, but she rubs her LEFT cheek.
In the opening sequence when Triton soars through the lLIT auditorium to light the lamp (how can you light that which is already lit), in the audience is Mickey, Donald and Goofy
There is the infamous scene in Roger Rabbit, when Jessica is ejected from the cab and her dress flares up to reveal no underwear (don't worry, it's smooth like a Barbie doll)
Simba (in Lion King), when he flumps down on the hillock and disturbs the pollen, it forms the word SEX for a moment.
In Hunchback (and I'm still looking for it) supposedly Belle is in the crowd scene at the beginning
The is alos a rumor that in The Rescuers, in the city sequence (which sppeds by way too fast) one of the women in the windows is topless (don't bother looking; that has been excised out. You would need an older VHS for that one)

On Amercian Pie, you see the avtor put 2 pictures up on the wall and when he takes them down later on in the movie, the one that was on the top is on the bottom and vica versa.
Also in American Pie, when he is holding the cup with the *** in it-the cup is a different colour when the camera goes away and comes back to him!
On Mission Impossible 2, you could see that Tom Cruise is wearing rollerskates when he is on the side of the motorbike when he is meant to be skidding across the ground.
On Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the original version) there are a few mistakes: 1. When the grandfather gets out of bed because he is going to go to the chocolate factory, he exclaims, 'I haven't been out of bed for .... years' yet earlier in the movie he calls Charlie over and says to him, 'I bought you a present Charlie' and he gives him a chocolate-how did he buy the chocolate if he hasn't been out of bed for so many years?!
2. When they go to the factory and Willy Wonka is coming out-the shadow on the ground is different in the 2 different camera views....both shots were obviously taken at different times of day!
3. When Charlie and his grandfather are flying in the bubble machine, you could see the back of their pants being pulled up by the harness that is holding them in place!
On the movie Along Came A Spider, the girl is thrown in the water and when they pull her out she is wearing a jacket that she wasn't wearing when she got thrown out!
What else? I love looking for mistakes in movies! My brothers and I do it all the time! I can't think of many others now though! Be well! :-)

In Star Wars: A New Hope, a Stormtrooper on the far right bangs his head in the doorway right after Luke says "Threepio... oh, where can he be?" on the comlink from the compactor room. Interesting, because they are supposed to be clones, according to the lousy prequel trilogy. How is one taller than the rest? Was he wearing disco shoes?
In Who Framed Roger Rabbit (no "?"), it used to be that Jessica Rabbit did a twirl, and she appeared not to be wearing anything under her dress. On VHS and LaserDisc, this still exists, but they cleaned it up for the DVD release.
Those are two of my favourites.

The best way to find out any and all movie "goofs" is to go to the International Movie database.
http://www.imdb.com/
Type in any movie title. Then when the movie listing pops up, click under the category:
Fun Stuff and it lists everything from Trivia to Goofs.
Hope this helps!

Check Imbd.com for all the movies look in trivia and goofs and they pretty much tell you what you want to know. Every time you type a movie in your search it will give you imbd as one of the results in the top.

Interesting. The thing about the crack troops is the Stormtrooper Effect, a synonym for Rambo's Law.
