As a general rule for portable music players, a minute of charge time yields at least 2-3 minutes of usage time. That said, it is not a great idea to charge a battery (of ANY chemical makeup) less than fully each time you charge it. Most batteries can only handle between 500-1000 charges before they must be replaced. You start quickly using those charge cycles up if you partially charge it more times per day.

well it depends on how long it has to be charged to be full then take that number and figure out how many min. it will go full charged then figure out the ratio.
