America is the only Industrialised country where health services are a priviledge ... In every other country -- Britain, France, Germany, Holland, Italy Canada, Australia -- health services are a right.
Also, it may be better to be a rich man in the USA but if you are of a lower class, you're much better off living in one of the above countries.

We have much to be proud of in Eurpoe.
For the poor, America is a living hell. And there are PLENTY of poor people in America.

The only sector the US are really advanced these days is the military one.
They are inordinately proud of that, much like the caveman with the bigger stick.
The reality is that ordinary people in the US don't know what live is like and how it's different in Europe. They work longer hours, have shorter holidays and lousy social security compared to the average European worker. Their gouvernment does not protect them from pollution and environmental damage by the big companies. You mentioned health yourself.
I think the ignorance of any other way of being is the main reason why they don't ask more and different questions.

amen, on that we have good and bad things, but we are starting to go down hill, i mean wqe have so much debt, the war is killing us, you have schools falling apart and everything, our koney could be used for more important things,
i want to live in a country that has socialism, it is a mix of democracy/capitalism and communism, i mean the rich people in this country for the most part are simply greedy, we are taught that once you make money u need to keep it for youself, that will be our country's downfall, the rich keep getting rich while the poor stay poor, we dont even have a middle class anymore really. with socialism, you have rich people, but you will rarely see someone down on their luck, because the rich have no problem helping others out!

because america is all about money. you need money to survive there, by making health care and other necessities in life chargable, they get more gross profit and in turn become more economically advanced. however, in the uk, you must pay something called National Insurance, which, in a sense, pays for all the 'free' services we get
