If you dislocated your shoulder and didn't go to the dr would it start to heal on it's own? Obviously the pain won't go away for a while but how long do you think it would take to feel normal again?

when a dislocation happens u are actually breaking a small bone in your shoulder. i would not put this off as you can hurt your range of motion the rest of your life. there are small bones in your shoulder that need to be x rayed. the therapists helped me understand things that i would not have done on my own (would have sat there and not used it for months).

I have a shoulder inpingement and will be doing therapy for the next 2 months plus I have already had two shots for the pain. I wouldn't wait too long to see a doctor. I waited too long..

Unless it popped back into place on it's own, it will continue to be dis-located. See your doctor!
